The 3 Ingredients for a Self-Made Millionaire: My Discussion with Ann Marie Sabath

January 3, 2019

The life of a new entrepreneur comes with a plethora of challenges. Every business owner has to deal with these inevitable moments even when they are seasoned in their industry—building credibility, adapting to a changing world, and running a business that maintains profitability and growth.  But when entrepreneurs step out into new business terrain, there are specific  hurdles that are hard to overcome.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Ann Marie Sabath, the author of What Self-Made Millionaires Know That Most People Don't: 52 Ways to Create Your Own Success and had a candid discussion about the mindset shift every new entrepreneur must create.

1. Expand Your Mental Attitude

Sabath states that new entrepreneurs have to be in their “Mental Driving Seat,” in order to manifest the business outcomes that are envisioned. She recommends that individuals create consistent routines that stretch their learning.

2. Form Win-Win Alliances

She highly recommends that new business owners take  time to pay attention to individuals who exemplify the skills, goals, and mindset that helped them to become successful.

3.Pay It Forward

With her 30-year history as a business etiquette guru, she has found that the common denominator for entrepreneurial success, can be found in the mission and focus of the business owner.  She highlights that entrepreneurs can stay focused by constantly keeping their internal motivation in check, as they strive to grow a business from scratch.
